Introducing the two fantastic speakers for the next FBC Women in Business Event in May 2023.
This event promises to be an exciting opportunity for attendees to gain valuable insights from two incredible and inspirational women from the business world.
Bernadine Geary – CEO Style Finance Group & Co-owner Sk8house
PRESENTATION TOPIC: Juggling Success- How Does She Do It?
Bernadine has been at the top of her field in the finance and banking industry for many years, from General Manager in the banking and finance industry to owning her own finance businesses in the UK and Australia. She thought a move to the Mornington Peninsula and running a home based Finance & Mortgage Broking business would slow life down but as a mother of two who also happens to own a roller skating rink and dances competitively with her husband on skates, taking her foot off the brakes was not to be.
Many ask Bernadine “how does she do it?”. As a woman who has fought through the years to get where she is today Bernadine will share her highlights and pitfalls with you and some tips on what to avoid.
About Bernadine
Bernadine Geary is no stranger to running businesses. She has been an entrepreneur since her mid 20’s and has run her own companies both in the UK and Australia. She is passionate about education and has been a mentor to many during her career.
As owner of Style Finance Group and co-owner of Sk8house, local well-known and loved family entertainment venue and roller skating rink in Carrum Downs, Bernadine knows all too well the rollercoaster ride of owning your own business, particularly with the challenges of recent years.
As a business finance expert her entire career has been focused on helping SME’s to reach their full potential. Armed with an accounting and tax background she moved quickly into business finance as she believed she could make a bigger impact by proactively assisting customers at the front end of their decision making.
Whether it be through running her own finance companies or in the business banking and corporate sectors, helping businesses to grow and prosper has always been her focus.
