Our presenter
This event is also a great opportunity to hear from our presenter, Fiona Basile, a freelance photographer and writer based in Seaford. Fiona is also a member of the local open water swimming community and she is very excited to share and celebrate the beauty and joy of the open water swimming community in Seaford, and to inspire others to dive into the water.
In January 2023, she decided to create a book for the community.
The stories in this book will share how much everyone has gained from swimming and being part of the community: better health and well-being, stronger connection to self and others, greater appreciation and care for the natural environment, and a deeper sense of gratitude.
Through the book, and her work, Fiona wants to encourage and inspire others to do the same and we look forward to hearing all about it at the September Networking evening!
